The Young Foundation

The Young Foundation brings together insights, innovation and entrepreneurship to meet social needs. They have a track record of over 50 years success with ventures such as the Open University, Which?, the School for Social Entrepreneurs and Healthline (the precursor of NHS Direct).

In September 2010, Apollo worked with The Young Foundation to raise the media profile of their report into the effectiveness of the British Government's "Big Society initiative". The report was trailed with a prominent piece in the Times, with follow up coverage on the Today progamme with BBC Home Affairs Editor Mark Easton, specialist regeneration sector magazine, Regeneration and Renewal, and a feature in the Saturday Guardian profiling one of the apprenticeship programmes that they support.
