Before co-founding Apollo, Rob was a writer for the Financial Times, the Independent and the Daily Telegraph.

Rob co-founded Apollo in 2010 after a career in national journalism, think-tanks and Government. He has worked expanding Apollo’s client list into new areas including international philanthropy, property consultancy and engineering.

He has led Apollo’s work promoting Europe’s largest science prize, the Millennium Technology Prize. In addition, he has worked on the Basque Culinary World Prize, an international award for chefs who are making a social impact, from its conception. Three years on, it is the world’s most widely covered culinary prize.

Rob also leads Apollo’s work promoting the Biscay area of the Basque Country in the international media. Prior to establishing Apollo, Rob worked as a leader writer for the Independent, and a features writer for the Financial Times and the Daily Telegraph. He also has a background in public policy through working in media relations for think-tanks including the European Council on Foreign Relations.
