Elyssa Ghedira / Interim Account Executive
Elyssa brings experience in policy research, strategic communications and international affairs, with a particular focus on the Middle East and North Africa. She has supported research and communications initiatives for think tanks and policy organisations across the UK, engaging with governance, gender policy and international development.
Prior to joining Apollo, Elyssa worked as a Policy Researcher at a London-based health policy think tank, leading the drafting of a primary care report following a closed-door roundtable with NHS leaders. She also contributed to policy research and parliamentary briefings at the Henry Jackson Society, including contributing to a report on Russian energy weaponisation in Europe.
Elyssa holds an MA in Political Science from Columbia University, specialising in International Relations, and a BSc in Politics from King’s College London. Her research has focused on gender policy reform, international migration, and institutional change, including work presented at Columbia examining the role of cultural norms in rights-based advocacy in Africa.
She is trilingual in English, French and Arabic.
