Johanna has won multiple awards, including the Science Shop Prize for Public Relations Strategy (Ulster University, 2022) and the Navigator Blue Integrated Marketing Communications Prize (Ulster University/ Navigator Blue, 2022)
Growing up in a small town in Germany, Johanna has always had a passion for visual arts and literature. After spending a gap year travelling around Canada, she moved to the United Kingdom to pursue her dream of working in the creative communications industry. 1300km away from home, she began her career by completing a BA and MSc in Belfast.
She developed in-depth knowledge about the effects of social and traditional media on target groups through completing her Bachelor’s degree in English and Media Studies and an MSc in Communication and Public Relations. She has also used and expanded her creative skills by volunteering for several Ulster University sports clubs/ societies and a paid PR role at a German Start-Up company.

Her expertise ranges from public relations, copywriting, content creation, storytelling and managing online events.
