Julie Levy-Abegnoli / Associate Director

Julie oversees a portfolio of leading clients in the education, nonprofit, and tech sectors. With a strategic approach and deep industry expertise, she delivers impactful messaging, high-level media coverage, and seamless project execution. Julie is also adept in crisis communications and leads comprehensive research projects, ensuring her clients are prepared for any scenario. Her leadership drives meaningful results, aligning client goals with innovative strategies that resonate on a global scale.

Before joining Apollo, Julie worked as a reporter and editor. She started her career at the Brussels-based Parliament Magazine, where she wrote in-depth articles on EU policy and interviewed leading European politicians including Commissioners and senior MEPs. 

Julie later worked at the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum, a monetary policy think tank. She edited a quarterly current affairs magazine, the Bulletin, which featured articles written by high profile central bankers, ministers and financial industry insiders. She managed OMFIF’s online content and edited copy for OMFIF’s Commentary series as well as long-form reports. She also hosted a weekly news podcast.

Julie is fluent in French. She holds a Bsc in Politics with International Relations from the University of Bath and studied Journalism at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and International Business Economics at Hogeschool-Universiteit Brussel.
