Music and photography have always been an integral part of Nicholas’s life, and these became the foundation of his calling to filmmaking – communicating with both audio and visual.

Before joining Apollo, Nicholas was a freelance Filmmaker, Photographer and Sound Engineer. With a keen eye for the aesthetic, he directed and shot various short films, campaigns and action sports profiles. He has also been commissioned for a range of photographic works such as product, pre-wedding, BTS, and event photography. As a sound engineer, he specialises in live sound mixing and events, working with many local bands in Singapore and for the Youth Olympic Games 2010.

Nicholas has studied Sonic Arts in Singapore and later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London, specialising in Digital Content for the web. Nicholas’s final year film project was selected for the programme of the Walthamstow International Film Festival.
