Bizkiai Talent is the Biscay’ region’s talent agency that encourages highly-skilled professionals to relocate to the area – whether they are Basque citizens that are living abroad, or nationals from other countries who may be attracted by the charms of the Basque Country.
Spain lost a large number of its skilled workers during the years after the financial crisis. The Basque County of Biscay, which is Spain’s industrial and manufacturing heartland, saw many of these with valuable STEM skills go abroad, for instance to engineering jobs in the British car industry.
Bizkaia Talent provide prospective professionals with internationally-based networking opportunities, a job matching platform, and assistance in their relocation to the area. They hold events in European capitals with the Basque diaspora where they share information on the practicalities of returning.
